a day in the life of...

I seldom do those posts which mainly consist of a chronological listing of the day's events, its pretty mundane and wouldn't make for good writing normally. but today was different. *BEWARE* Long sentence ahead.

it was a really, REALLY hot day and having got on the wrong bus, I hastily hopped off one step later and began the long walk in the scorching heat all the way to camp; halfway there I really couldn't take it and needed a drink so I popped by a petrol station convenience store and faced with the immense choices of beverages on offer I said "heck it, whatever" and promptly got a can of Whatever; which wasn't really a good choice for the flavour that was handed to me by pure random chance turned out to be some poor zappel clone which had a strong hint and aftertaste of pesticide such that I hereby christened the new drink "pesticider", spitting it out along the way back to camp, which was still pretty far away but eventually I made it thanks in no small part to the shiny reflective shades that I had on because my vision was still very sensitive to bright light from the pupil-dilating eye drops that were administered to me earlier in the morning, which was in the process of turning into a very hot afternoon, perfect weather to be sporting those shiny oversized aviators which like so totally ups ones cool quotient by a good 2.5 points, not to mention how it brought out incredulous looks from everyone who happened to look on.

well I got bored with keeping up that insanely long sentence/paragraph/wall of text so that will suffice.
